Biography:
Edinela Aparecida Dos Santos Galvanin is an Associate Professor at UNESP, specializing in Applied Geoprocessing. She integrates geotechnologies and statistical modeling to address complex environmental issues, focusing on land-use and water resource dynamics. A former Fulbright Scholar (USA) and post-doctoral researcher (Portugal), she leads the GPGAEA research group, bridging academic rigor with socio-environmental impact. She actively contributes to water governance as a member of the Paranapanema River Basin Committee and serves as a reviewer for high-impact journals. Her career is dedicated to strengthening the interface between science and sustainable environmental management.
