Biography:
Prof. Andy L. Catulin is a Filipino scholar and environmental science researcher whose work focuses on coastal biodiversity, seaweed and mangrove ecology, and community-based environmental assessment. Affiliated with Cagayan State University (CSU), he has authored studies on the morphological, phytochemical, and nutritional properties of seaweeds, as well as comprehensive mangrove and seagrass profiling in Northern Luzon. His research integrates field ecology, environmental education, and applied community science, contributing to the understanding and conservation of coastal ecosystems in Cagayan. He holds a Ph.D. in Science Education and continues to advance ecological research through collaborative projects, academic leadership, and scientific publications
