Biography:

Dr. Vijayan Gurumurthy Iyer (b. 10 June 1964, Mayuram, India) is a distinguished engineer, academic expert, and consultant with over 45 years of experience in mechanical engineering, environmental science, engineering, and higher education. He is Director of Techno-Economic-Environmental Study and Check Consultancy Services in Chennai. He holds multiple qualifications, including AMIE (Mechanical), MTech., PhD (Environmental Science & Engineering), D.Sc., and several honorary doctorates. He has served as Professor, Dean, Technical Officer, and Principal at premier institutions such as Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Panasonic Carbon, Bihar Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development, and was a postdoctoral researcher cum elaborator at WSEAS, Athens, Greece. Dr. V.G. Iyer has authored 470+ SCI/ISI-indexed journals and conference papers, 80 eBooks, and has over 7450 national and international citations (h-index: 70), Who’s Who seven biographical reference books and twenty five YouTube Magnus education videos . He serves on editorial boards for leading journals and has been recognized with national and international awards including Special Education NCERT award, Sutruzual veera award of Government of Tamil Nadu, Bharat Jyothi and Rashtriya Gaurav. A Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) and Professional Engineer, P.Eng. (I) and Senior Professional Engineer (Sr.PE) of Engineering Council of India.
