Biography:
Pragya Yadav is a PhD research scholar in Department of Environmental Science and Engineering with a research focus on climate change, carbon footprint assessment, campus sustainability and decarbonization strategies. Her doctoral research focuses on developing decarbonization strategies for Indian higher educational institutions, with particular emphasis on greenhouse gas accounting, emission hotspot identification, and sustainable interventions. Her broader research interests include life cycle assessment, waste management, sustainable development, and the integration of Sustainable Development Goals into institutional and climate action frameworks. Through her research, she aims to contribute to practical and scalable pathways towards low-carbon and sustainable campuses.
